“THE GIVING TREE”

OUR PARISH GIVING TREES ARE ON DISPLAY 

THROUGH DECEMBER 8

 The Christmas gifts we receive through the Giving Tree will benefit senior men and women in two Darlington Assisted Living facilities and the children of families who are registered with the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen’s Adopt a Family Program.  We ask that you please take one or more Christmas Ornaments from the Giving Tree and purchase your gifts based on the ornament’s description. 

ORNAMENT DESCRIPTIONS

           SENIOR MAN        CHILD AGES 1-11

           SENIOR WOMAN        CHILD AGES 12-18

All gift items must be new. 

Please return gifts in a bag with the ornament attached and place them under the Giving Tree by SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8^TH before NOON.

SUGGESTIONS FOR MEN AND WOMEN

Sweatpants, Sweatshirts, Socks, Underwear, Woolen Hats & Gloves – all Sizes, Soaps, Shaving Cream, Razors, Scarfs, Perfumes, Hair Spray, Shampoo, Deodorant, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Sweaters, Socks, Leggings, Shawls, Gloves, Body Wash, or anything else that is appropriate. Please do not include any coats.

SUGGESTIONS FOR CHILDREN AGES 1-11

Blocks or Building Sets, Crayons or Arts & Crafts Sets, Kinetic Sand, Pokémon Brand Toys, Stuffed Animals, Slime, Play-Doh, Shrinky Dinks, Fidget Toys, Board Games, Books, Gloves, Mittens, Hats, Gift Cards to McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, etc. 

SUGGESTIONS FOR CHILDREN 12-18

Earbuds/Headphones, Hats, Gloves, Gift Cards to Dunkin’ Donuts, Wendy’s, Burger King, McDonald’s, Sephora, Movie Tickets, Nail Polish, Make-up, Hair Clips, Scrunchies, etc.
