Healing Ministry Opportunities
Over the last three years we have conducted Healing Masses on the third Sunday of every month. These liturgies have been well attended and have given comfort to many. Because of illness or incapacity of some of our ministers, we have need of new people to join us. The responsibilities of ministers are as follows:
1. To pray for the sick, especially in front of the tabernacle.
2. To participate in a once a month teaching by Father Bob on "Healings" in the church. In 2010/2011 we will concentrate upon Brother Andre, one of the newest Saints in the Church.
3. To take on one of the following ministries at the Mass each month:
a. Leading part of the Scriptural Rosary.
b. Being a Lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion or a collector.
c. Ushering people into their places.
d. Being a "catcher" for those who are prayed over.
For more information, contact Father Bob at 724-9190.
